Book of Christian Inspirational Poetry

WELCOME to All Glory Is His! This site is designed to announce my book of Christian inspirational poetry to be released in March, 2007 through Publish America.

This collection of poetry will include topics such as patriotism, general inspiration, grief and Heaven, plus more. It is created to compliment my existing website writing ministry, www.allgloryishis.com!

I love writing poetry, articles and devotions that bring others closer to the Lord! At present, I am writing regularly for www.AllAboutGOD.com and www.graceandmercymagazine.org.

I urge you to seek Him daily through all avenues of the written word, especially God's Word.

Below is my poem, A Writer's Prayer. Keep checking back for updates on the book's availability! Purchase details will be provided soon. May God use the words He has given me....

Lucy
A WRITER'S PRAYER

As I sit here staring at the keys
I wonder what You'll give me today.
I never know how You will inspire
Or what thoughts will come my way.

I simply know what I desire
When others read what I do.
I want no glory in success or fame
For all the glory would go to You.

Give me words that lift them up
And give them a sense of hope.
Give me words that embrace the heart
When they feel at the end of their rope.

Let them see they need You, Lord
At the start of each new day.
May they discover Your love for them
Throughout all the words I say.

A writer has a responsibility
To make accurate his statements in print.
Let me base my writings, Lord,
On Your Holy Words heaven-sent.

I never know who might need a word
Or what they're dealing with today.
Lord, just give me what they need to hear
Is what I so humbly pray.
